Family in Cape Town for New Year

So good to have some of Shirley's family around in Cape Town. We spent New Years eve in Camps Bay with Gail and Greg Roumbies which was great. Walk on Camps bay beach to see the sun go down, Royal variety show on TV with skips to SKY news where a hotel in Dubai situated near the Burj caught fire, chicken burgers, champagne and fireworks - what a great end to a fine year. Here's to an even better 2016! We are blessed. Chris and Allison Logie were also in the neighbourhood and popped in on the weekend for a swim at Muzinburg, breakie at the beach, braai at home of Chicken Tikka kebabs and flatbreads and many swims. Miss these guys since they moved to Australia - Settle down Chris"O. Hello China Back again for 2 weeks to attend the Canton fair and do factory visits. I landed in Hong Kong yesterday at 12 after a long flight and zero Sleep, this is number 6 to HK, number 3 this year! get off the plane - rush, rush, rush! Train to teminal 1, immigration, bag, train ticket, forex, train to Kowloon station, cab to train station 2, immigration, 2 hour train ride to Guangzhou, immigration, cab to hotel, language problem and wrong hotel, try again and finnally reach Sheraton at 7PM! Well it was great to meet old friends at the hotel, beer and Boofay diner consisting of proper noodles followed up with a chat to the family and I was out for the count. Up at 6, I slept supprisingly very well and did not suffer from any jet lag thanks to downing a gallon of water on the plane. I`m hitting the gym now, then the boofey breakfast table followed by a day at the fair. Going to keep fit this trip and keep meals down to 2, Boofey`s can get dangeous!! Over and out.

Family portrait 2014

Family portrait time Family was here from down under and the desert so Dad made sure that we all got together for a family portrait. The last one taken was 14 years ago just before Jhenn died so it was very special.
