Our friends the Browns convinced us to do the Cape Point run this weekend. I did the 24km (First half marathon ever) with Russell, Mel did the 13km and Shirl did a 5Km trail run. What a stunning location!
My Half went well and completed it in 2 Hrs 39 min for 24Km (2.18 for the 21Km). Breakfast consisted of half a litre of water, Oats and a banana while at 12Km I snacked on a Jungle oats energy bar which tasted like manor from heaven. Oh, and cold coke after a run is the best!
