yes at last a night away alone!
After 9 years of staying at the City ldeg in Cape Town I had enough points for a free night for Shirley and I at the City Lodge Waterfront. Checkin was at 5 after which we had a coke in the bar watching the end of an Arsenal football game.
We then headed off to the Waterfront for some window shopping and dinner at Dan Anker. A Belgian resturant that serves mean steaks and beer on tap.
After Creapes we headed off home on the arduous 5 min journey back to the hotel for coffee and a swim.
Breakfast was followed by a brisk walk on the Seapoint promenade and then off home to see the girlies again.
What a great evening, need to have more time alone!!!!! But nothing beats the trip home to meet our girls.
