Bonjour Paris - day 3

Up at 7:30 and off to the most Parisian coffee shop you have ever seen called Starbucks! After a cup of Joe and muffin I left Shirl or Julie today (the French waitress wrote Julie on her cup of coffee) to do some shopping and I headed off for an awesome 7km run from the hotel down the Champs E to the Louvre and them back up to the Arc de T and back down to the hotel.
After the run our consiage had read my mind and turned the sauna on and I had a good sweat!!! Pick up Shirl and walk down to the Louvre, grab a baguette at Paul's belangerie (and and apple flan, wow, wow, wow, better then my fruit tart yesterday but Shirley preferred her Choc croissant from this morning) , meet Als friend Noelie who very kindly showed us her favorite shops in the suburb of Le Marais.

Boots and a dress with a very Parisian belt were on the cards w hereafter we headed back to Hotel. Dinner at an Italian spot consisted of pizza (bacon and egg), steak and frite (chips) with a chocolate  mouse to share.

Then for the Piste resistance,  we both walked up the Arc de T and after about a zillion stairs got to the top as the sun was going down, what a breath taking view, the best I have seen in Paris!!!! We ended the day with a double espresso to go which was just about enough caffeine to get our legs going to the hotel after a long day of walking.

Bonsoir day 3, we have a biggie tomorrow with the open top bus and many museums.
