A weekend on the Breede river near Riviersonderend was just what the doctor ordered.
Camp fires, jaffels, canoeing, reading and ofcourse eating. Hope"s friend Josey came along and we all had a whale of a time, oh and I musnt forget that we drove through to the Greyton market as well.
Setting up a big 6 man tent was a bit of a mission but we are becoming quite proficient at it but the main thing is that Shirl and I didn't fight once. We met great Afrikaans neighbours
Who thrilled us with stories of 4x4 trips to the Caprivi. (Im sure the teenage boys were also quite happy with the prospect of having 2 beautiful teenage girls on the next camp site.)
We had some scattered showers during the weekend and some really icy weather at night.
Camping _ a bit like the army,challenging while you are there but really rewarding when you get back home.
