Knysna holiday

We holidayed on Theysen island in Knysna this year. It was a short one as there were only 2 nights available but we made the most of every minute.

Stayed at our normal holiday house - 8A Saffron island which is always a treat as it is central to everything and has a wonderful quey, So we left just before 5 and got to knysna at 10 on Monday morning, unpacked and changed gear into Knysna mode. The afternoon bought lots of swimming at the heads, a trip to see Shirl's mom and dad's manse house on leisure isle and a pizza at Cal cachios. 

The next day was a highlight for Shirl - breakfast on the opening day at Isle de paine which had been closed for a year due to renovations caused by a fire. SUP boarding in was great fun and I was so happy to go on a daily 5Km run in amoungst the avenues of houses in harbour city while Hope rode her bike.

On the last day we planned to leave late at about 2 to maximize our stay in Knysna and visited Dad's old church, The church in Belvedier and had a walk / picninc at 'Circles in the forest'.
