Happy birthday Shirl
She is always so excited to have a birthday, reminds me of a kid on Christmas eve - dont loose that, it really is awesome.
We had just got back from Knysna the night before, so the girls and I spend the night blowing up balloon and wrapping pressies. After a covert stop in George to pickup a pressie from Cotton on we were ready for the big day.
Shirl woke all of s up at 6:30, she couldn't contain herself any more, so with tea and rusks we all crammed onto our king size bed and opened pressies. Gifts included a bikini and necklace from Knysna which had a silver pansie shell on the end of it.
After breakie of bacon and eggs, Shirley had a 1 hour engagement with the toe clipper (pedicure) and after that and a bit of a rest we headed off to my moms for tea and a delicious chocolate cake (she must be so tired of making cakes, its the 3rd birthday cake in 2 months). Let's hie the town girls - we headed off into Cape Town for a Gourmet burger dinner on Brie street which was followed by a spectacular drive up signal hill to watch the lights come on (Shirley's favorite pass time).
