23 years and still going strong! Wow, how time fly's - we were in Paris 2 years ago!
I had just landed back in Cape Town from a week in Jhb on Friday night when we woke up on Saturday morning and headed to Cavendish center for Shirley to choose a new handbag. Her choices were a pair of earrings, money towards her kiln and a bag which Talor suggested.
The bag was a winner and we found one at Trenarey. After that lunch at the Mug and Bean and home time. We had to pick Hope up from a fried (Hanna), Shirley was going to watch Arsenal play football at the mothers house (They won for a change) and I was going for an afternoon run - 14 Km from Capri to Noordhoek , Long beach and then along the beach to Mom's house in Kommetjie.
On Sunday we woke early and headed off to the West Coast Nature reserve at 6:30 to see the flowers - what a wonderful day of viewing flowers, being with family (Mom and Bruce joined), picnicking on chicken rolls and Chocolate cake, swimming in the lagoon, parking off in the bird hide and taking awesome photographs - I love this spot, even without the flowers it is a special place.
