This weekend we headed off to the Cederburg mountains to a campsite called Beaverlac with Bruce, Hope and Hope's friend Josie. Shirl and Talor unfortunately stayed at home as Ta had exams to write the following week and had to prepare - we missed them like crazy!
What an awesome camp site, we got there quite early so claimed a corner site under a clump of treas quite close to the ablutions which was perfect. The weather was great except for a tiny downfall on Friday night but all in all the weekend was a huge success and was filled with swimming in 3 rock pools, jumping off cliffs into the water, reading, braaing and chilling by the camp fire.
We had a bit of a problem getting out of the camp site as the dirt road was quite steep and the trailer to heavy so the X trails front wheels were just skidding and had no traction but a friendly Q5 driver helped by hooking up the trailer and sailing up the hill.
