It's been 19 years that we have lived in our house at 22 Vancouver Close Capri. We bought plot and plan in Dec 1999, Chose the plot as there was no one else in the street, put up the fence ourselves while Shirley was pregnant with Talor and had a lifetime worth of memories in our old place.
What a sad thing it is to pack up and move, it's almost as if the house has a personality as is crying while you depart. I know moving represents a new start but I cant shake the idea that I am abandoning an old friend.
Goodbye my old friend, thanks for the shelter, good times, stunning sunsets, protection, frog hunting in the stream next door, awesome braai's and above all memories - I will never forget you.
