Christmas started on Christmas Eve Eve at moms house for a gammon, chicken and pork belly done on the Webber (Bruce's son and family are leaving the next day hence the early celebration). Mike and Tyler were with us and the food was divine!
Then on Christmas eve we had a roast chicken and roast beef for mom, Bruce, Tyler and Andre. The evening finished with a game of rummy and a walk to the Slankop lighthouse.
The big day started at 7 with the opening of pressies then we all went for a swim in the sea (the Kom which is a semi protected little bay which is a bit further then our normal beach - 400m)
Then bacon and eggs followed by a rest. Met dad and Sonya at our local country club (Clovelli) for a smorgasbord of prawns, gammon etc... (all animal groups represented_ aka - food coma.
Back home for a sleep and then after waking up walked to the beach in a semi coma for a wake up swim in cold water.
I am on leave now until the 14th - Whoooohhhhhh! and our plans are to run, eat, read, rummy, sleep, repeat.
